OUR STORY

We are a nonprofit group founded in the 1970’s made up of artists and those who support the arts. We host two annual juried art exhibits: The Small Wonders in May and the Regional Juried Art Exhibit in October. We also provide an art award to a Marshall County high school senior going on to further their art education, offer art classes for children and adults throughout the year, display the artwork of our members daily, and we feature a local artist monthly.

OUR MISSION

Welcome artists and those interested in the arts

Promote multi-media visual art forms

Encourage mutual support of local artists

Provide art exhibits, classes, programs, and education

Build an artistic link with the community

Honor ALL individuals with regard to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA)

ACCESSIBILITY

The Heartland Artists Gallery is committed to making its exhibits, building, classes, and events accessible to all individuals.

For information or to request accommodations, please contact the gallery at least one week in advance.  We welcome comments on how to improve our accessibility so that all can enjoy and participate in the artistic experience.

Activities are made possible in part by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, and the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the State of Indiana and the National Endowment for the Arts.
