DESCRIPTION:Better Light\, Better Photos is a 2.5-hour\nmobile photography class that teaches\nyou how to work with the most powerful\n– and most accessible – tool you have:\nthe light that’s already around you. Using\njust your iPhone or Android phone\, you’ll\nlearn how natural light and everyday light\nsources (like lamps\, windows\, overhead\nlights\, and even reflective household\nitems) shape the mood\, clarity\, and emotional\nimpact of your photos. Through\nsimple demonstrations and guided\npractice\, you’ll begin to understand what\nyour camera sees and more importantly\,\nwhat light is doing before you ever take\nthe shot.\nIn this hands-on workshop\, you’ll explore the four essential lighting directions\n(front\, side\, back\, and top light)\, experiment with soft and hard light and discover\nwhy the same scene looks completely different in morning\, midday\, and\nevening light.\nBy the end of class\, you’ll leave with new images\, new skills and a new way of\nseeing. Because better photos don’t come from better equipment\, they come\nfrom understanding the light you already have.
