June Featured Artist: Cara Lawson-Ball
On view June 1–27 at the Heartland Art Center
This June, the Heartland Art Center proudly presents the work of Cara Lawson-Ball as our featured artist. Her abstracted paintings are shaped by quiet journeys through the Great North—where color, stillness, and memory collide. Drawing from experiences hiking and canoeing, her work captures the rhythm of the natural world in soft swipes and fleeting impressions. Playful, cocktail-inspired titles add a touch of surprise and layered meaning to each piece.
The exhibit will also include select works by fellow artist Daniel Slattery, complementing Lawson-Ball’s evocative collection.
