Events Happening Inside Heartland Art Center During the Festival!

Ever dreamed of being part of a song? Now’s your chance! At this year’s ARTS in the Street festival, we’re setting up a special “Recording Studio” where visitors of all ages can help us record the official ARTS in the Street theme song. No singing skills or experience required!

Join us inside Heartland Art Center for the weekly Saturday Sounds at the Center from 11:30 – 12:30. Young students of Plymouth native, Alex Jeffirs, will perform during the hour. Come and support these young musicians!

Our 2nd Annual Chalk Art Contest will take place this Saturday at the 10th Annual ARTS in the Street Festival 2024!

Free to enter for all ages and supplies will be provided or bring your own. All participants get a t 3′ x 3′ square. Judging by professional chalk artist, John Buggs, will takes place at 4:00PM!

The annual Northern Indiana Pastel Society exhibit, showcasing vibrant and diverse pastel artworks, is open to the public and free to attend throughout July. The exhibit culminates in a closing reception and awards ceremony on Friday, August 2, from 6-8pm.

Throughout the festival, The REES will be showing “Arts & Artisans”. These mini-documentaries were created over four months in 2022 through a collaboration between professional artists and Wild Rose Moon student interns with the support of the Arts and Culture Council of the Marshall County Crossroads.

Help us create a Marshall County community art installation of origami cranes. Each community will be represented by a single color. How many can we create?

Enjoy music and dance performances every hour from these amazing groups! Seating is limited, so be sure to bring a chair so you can comfortably enjoy each show!
