Join us for a captivating evening of art, nature, and education with award-winning artist and educator Anne Maddox!
Growing up in the countryside of England, Anne developed a deep love for nature that has guided her artistic and professional journey. After training as both an artist and educator, she traveled the world, painting landscapes, seascapes, and daily life in places like the Bahamas, where she was nominated for a Distinguished Citizen’s Award. Her work has taken her from illustrating wildflowers in Grand Bahama to painting orchids in Florida and ecosystems in Tennessee and Indiana.
Now based in Nashville, Anne has completed a stunning series of six Ecosystem paintings, each showcasing wildlife and plant life from different regions and seasons. These works serve as powerful tools for climate awareness, demonstrating the interconnectedness of nature and the importance of preserving and creating habitats.
Beyond her ecosystem series, Anne is a multi-talented artist, working in watercolor, acrylics, oils, and scratchboard, and has even explored Plein Air painting. She has also written and illustrated three books, blending her passion for art, nature, and education.
Don’t miss this inspiring event where Anne will share her work, her journey, and the vital message of conservation through art.
