CLOSING RECEPTION – FRIDAY, SEPT. 26th — 1-3PM
For the Friendship Quilters Guild of Plymouth, amazing is an everyday occurrence. Since 1997, this talented and generous group of makers has stitched together creativity and compassion—sharing ideas, challenging one another, and creating projects that reach far beyond their own homes. Their annual Quilt Show at the Heartland Art Center showcases a vibrant mix of colorful, handmade quilts, including those created for service projects that benefit veterans, children, hospice patients, nursing homes, and shelters.
From patriotic Quilts of Valor for veterans, to whimsical quilts for children facing illness or trauma, to lap quilts and stockings for those in need, each piece tells a story of care and community. Much of the fabric comes from donations, transformed by Guild members into works of art that bring comfort and joy where it’s needed most.
The Quilts & Fabrics exhibit is on display throughout the month of September at the Heartland Art Center. Don’t miss this celebration of artistry, tradition, and generosity—stitched together with heart.
